The teacher behind ZippyTeach
I didn’t build ZippyTeach because I wanted to make an app.
I built it because I walked into a new school with eight classes, thirty children in each room, and a head full of names I was terrified I’d forget. I’d spent years studying education, but what I needed each morning was simpler: my students’ names where they sat, points they could see, class jobs they could own, games that made English feel like play, and one calm screen that could hold the day together.
So I made the tool I wished I had. It helped my classroom run better, and then other teachers started asking to use it. That’s when I realized I wasn’t the only one carrying too much with too little time.
ZippyTeach is my way of handing some of that weight back to teachers — built from a real classroom, for real classrooms.
